A New Era for Youth-Led Culture and Inclusion

With over 45% of the world’s creative talent under the age of 35, the Vanderbilt-Daxsen Arts & Heritage Fund places youth empowerment at the core of its mission. The initiative was launched not only to fund artistic excellence, but to remove structural barriers that have historically excluded young and diverse voices from shaping cultural landscapes.

Through a hybrid model that merges philanthropy with strategic investment, the fund supports artists from marginalized communities, providing access to mentorship, resources, and global networks. The goal: to build a more inclusive creative economy where young artists are not only seen — but sustainably supported.

“The fund sends a clear message: the next generation holds the key to our cultural evolution,” said David Xavier Sánchez. “We’re here to ensure their ideas are funded, their voices are heard, and their impact is global.”

Backed by alliances with universities, foundations, and multilateral partners, the fund is rapidly becoming a hub for inclusive cultural innovation, offering opportunities that go far beyond traditional grantmaking.
